FHNB (Fashion Has No Borders) Fashion and Accessory Expose will offer visitors the unique opportunity to discover and purchase the hottest in fashion, health and beauty products while thoroughly enjoying the whole shopping experience under one roof. Over 275 fashion, hair and beauty companies as well as fashion schools and beauty schools will exhibit!

On March 27 at 8:30 pm, hundreds of millions of people around the world will turn off their lights for one hour to demand action on climate change.

Earth Hour is a global call to action to every individual, every business and every community throughout the world. It is a call to stand up, to take responsibility, to get involved and lead the way towards a sustainable future. Iconic buildings and landmarks from Europe to Asia to the Americas will stand in darkness. People across the world from all walks of life will turn off their lights and join together in celebration and contemplation of the one thing we all have in common – our planet.

Hope is in full bloom this spring! Daffodil Days is marking its 49th year as Canadian Cancer Society volunteers team up to sell fresh bunches of bright yellow daffodils to help raise money in support of the fight against cancer.

The daffodil is the Canadian Cancer Society's symbol of hope. The bright, cheerful blooms are sold every year and provide a kick-off for our National Cancer Awareness Month in April.

Spanning a wide spectrum of musical genres – from country, to rap, to pop, and everything in between – the group of artists slated to set THE JUNO AWARDS stage on fire this year includes: Billy Talent, Blue Rodeo, Justin Bieber, Metric and Michael Buble!

It's time to start getting ready for the 33rd Annual Sport Chek Mother's Day Run & Walk in Calgary! The Run & Walk kicks off at 8:30 am sharp at the Calgary Tower. For a detailed course map, click here.

This event continues to be Alberta's largest family fundraising event with over 20,000 participants last year. Proceeds from the Sport Chek Mother's Day Run & Walk will be in support of the Calgary Health Trust (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Special Care Nurseries at the Peter Lougheed, Rockyview & Foothills Hospitals).

LITE 96 is proud to support "Ladies Night Out" presented by the Calgary Firefighters Burn Treatment Society on May 28, 2010, 6pm at The Calgary Italian Club.

 
With proceeds benefiting the Calgary Firefighters Burn Treatment Centre at the Foothills Medical Centre, the evening features cocktails, appetizers and a delicious meal served by Firefighters. There will also be door prizes, bucket raffles, musical entertainment and the chance to bid in silent and live auctions. Calgary Fire Department trucks, both new and antique, will make an appearance and the evening would not be complete without the participation of the "Hotstuff" calendar guys.

On May 30, 2010, the Calgary Marathon, Canada’s longest running marathon, is kicking off a new decade with Scotiabank as its new title sponsor. Along with the sponsorship, the Scotiabank Group Charity Challenge is a new program for 2010, which will give runners the opportunity to fund raise for the official charity of their choice.
